Since then he has gained his experience in some international establishments such as the Michelin-starred restaurants in Alsace, Lyon, Burgundy, Paris, Australia and Southeast Asia. Chef Marx always expresses his deep passion for French cuisine and lifestyle and is always honored to do so by carefully selecting a mixture of ingredients from markets around the world and Indonesian archipelago. Since its opening in 2010, AMUZ Gourmet has won numerous acknowledgements and accolades. Chef Gilles has also been awarded to Master Chef Gilles Marx for his work. He is also a successful entrepreneur who oversees APREZ, Artoz Bar and Lounge with its Whisky & Cognac collection that is known to be the largest in Jakarta. Chef Gilles has also achieved many international acknowledgements, including being distinguished with the title of Sir, Chevalier (Knight) de L’Odre du Merite Agricole by the French Ministry of Food & Agriculture in January 2013, being the coach of the only Indonesian Bocuse d’Or Team qualified for the Bocuse d’Or Final in France and becoming the President of Disciples Escoffier Indonesia, to name a few.
